Ashes of John Fleming committed to the sea
On Saturday I was invited to join John Fleming’s sister, with her husband and children, to take his ashes out from Plockton and commit them to the sea. It was a warm, sunny, calm autumn day with all the time in the world for reflection, recollection and a toast to the memory of brother, uncle, friend and quiet genius.
A special thank you to Annan Dryburgh and friends at Plockton for arranging to take us out and making it all happen. These really were a special few hours.
